Century ADV-1 (Advanced One) 12ft 3.5lb
The ADV-1 (Advanced One) is classified as a multi range rod. The ADV 1 is made in two prime test curves 3.25lb and 3.50lb and will cover majority of UK venues and also guest on most Continental waters.
The ADV-1 is well balanced and feels light to hand directly as a result of the carbon fibres used internally and the lightweight carbon 1k-1k reel seat with matching carbon spacers. The handle is full length Japanese Shrink Rubber and finished with a Century engraved black aluminium butt cap. The butt section and lower tip section are finished in a matt 1k-1k carbon surface with a PTFE/Silicone protective sealant. Fitted with Century SiC size 50 guides and tied in jet black thread.
We have selected the best raw materials to balance the requirements for performance, low weight and diameter. The architecture of the blank is a combination of machine cut cross ply 35gsm carbon, intermediate and high modulus carbon with a woven 1k-1k outer sheath. Century has optimised the carbon patterns to generate a classic mid to tip action that will assist in super smooth casts and effortless playability. The rod is subject to our unique Autoclave Technology for action retention and incorporates ATT (Anti Twist Technology) to aid directional accuracy and distance.
The ADV-1 is constructed in UK at our factory in Washington using the most advanced rod building machinery and in conformance with certified quality and environmental systems.
