Century Graphex Lure Rod 9′6″
The lure fishing market has exploded in the UK in recent years. At Century we backed ourselves to produce the most versatile lure fishing rod on the market today. We tried various prototypes and tested them in different applications in the UK and USA. After a two-year testing phase, we were very pleased with the final version. We felt we had produced a spinning rod like no other that could compete with any existing rod in its class and surpass all expectations.
The result was a 9ft 6″ rod, primarily designed for bass lure fishing but versatile enough to make it a pleasure to use when targeting many species. As a bass lure angler, you want to be able to cover as much ground as possible with each cast, maximising your potential to tempt predatory fish into attacking your lure. The Graphex™ spinning rod is the perfect accompaniment for using very aerodynamic hard plastic surface lures. You’ll be shocked at the distances you’ll hit without too much effort. This 10-40g spinning rod also has a tip sensitive enough that you’ll be able to work soft plastic lures perfectly, making sure you can produce that irresistible action. Despite its very light feel in hand and low diameter, the rod has plenty of power in the butt, allowing you to steer hard fighting wrasse and double figure bass clear of obstructions.
What we are most proud of is we have been able to produce these rods at a price point that offers tremendous value for money to lure anglers and allows you to have cutting-edge technology in your hands, that is made to the highest standards here in the United Kingdom.
We have probably seen 30+ species now targeted on this versatile rod; it has a proven track record all over the UK, in Norway, the USA and even in the tropics.
If you’re an avid lure angler, you simply need to try one to love the Graphex™.
