The Scierra Dacron Fly Line Backing is super thin to give you superior backing capacity on your fly reel and is an ideal backing choice to have as a precaution in case your catch decides to make a run for it!
This backing is ultra thin in diameter and made from braided Dacron. The thin diameter allows you to fit more backing on your reel and increase the strength of your backing. The braided Dacron material, gives superior strength, durability and reliability.
The Hi-Vis orange colour provides you with excellent visibility and the backing also has a low stretch allowing it to cut through water with little resistance. Due to the low stretch, we recommend you tie this to your line very securely and with a loop to loop connection.
The Scierra Dacron Fly Line Backing is available in 100 yard or 250 yard spools and in various breaking strains that you can select from our drop down menu.
